What to monitor, and why
Every value is read by your doctor alongside your history, your habits and your goals.
Cardiovascular risk
Apolipoprotein B measures how many particles are actually carrying fats through your blood (not how much cholesterol there is, but how many “ships” are carrying it). It rarely appears in a routine check-up, and its role often emerges only after a cardiovascular event.
Hormonal balance
Progesterone and testosterone complete the picture of the hormonal axis, alongside estradiol, FSH, LH and DHEAS. They matter when the cycle is irregular, and when mood and energy change for no apparent reason.
Coeliac disease
Anti-transglutaminase antibodies are the first test for whether gluten plays a part in common symptoms: bloating, fatigue after meals, difficult digestion.
Oxidative stress
One of the mechanisms that speed up cellular ageing, and one that sleeping too little, eating badly and living under stress all feed. D-ROMs measure exactly this imbalance.
