How do I join Qura?

What does the membership include?

A blood test with over 80 parameters at the start of each year for a complete picture of your health, with results analysed and interpreted by expert doctors who provide personalised guidance based on your results, your biometric data and your habits. You will receive a detailed clinical summary to help you understand your data better and a follow-up consultation with your doctor to discuss the results and define an action plan. You will also have access to additional tests at transparent, accessible prices, based on your needs.

How do you protect my data?

Your privacy is our absolute priority. All personal and health data you share with Qura is handled in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and stored on secure, encrypted servers. Only authorised medical staff can access your information, and only to provide you with support and personalised analysis. At any time you can view, download or delete your data from your profile. Your health is serious — and so is the security of your data.

Do I need a medical prescription?

No, it's not necessary. Many of the tests Qura offers are not reimbursed by Italy's National Health Service (SSN). That is because the system follows a principle of prescribing appropriateness: certain tests may only be requested by a doctor when there are specific symptoms or particular exemptions.

I bought the base membership — how often will I need to repeat the tests?

It depends largely on clinical indications. In any case, tests should be repeated at least once a year. If some values are out of range, your doctor may request a follow-up after 3, 6 or 9 months, depending on the situation.

How long does the membership last?

The membership lasts 12 months.

Will the protocol be updated over time?

Yes. The protocol can be updated and adjusted over time based on new results, how your values evolve, and your doctor's guidance.

How often can I contact the doctor?

You can contact your doctor whenever you want via chat. The doctor typically responds within 48 business hours.

Is there a Qura app?

Yes. The Qura app is included in your membership and available for iPhone and Android: your personalized protocol, direct chat with your doctor, and your test results, always with you. Download it from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your Qura account.

Can Qura be extended to minors?

At the moment Qura is not available for minors.

If I wanted to take out a membership with another person, is there a discount?

If I've done my tests at one of your partner centres, do I need to upload the results myself?

No, it's not necessary. Results are uploaded directly by us. Delivery times may vary, typically up to around 7 days.

If I did the tests on my own with the plan without exams, how much would I spend?

The cost varies from lab to lab, but considering all the parameters included by Qura, the cost would be roughly between 500 and 600 euros.

Can I pay with insurance?

With Qura you can request reimbursement for the tests, which represent about 70% of the membership value. We currently have no direct agreements with insurers, but many of our users get reimbursed through their own health policies.
